Matthew 24:3 “…what will be the sign of…the end of the age?”
In the “last days,” the Lord doesn’t pledge that things will go well; He promises in 2 Timothy 3:1, “In the last days difficult times will come.”
But it gets even more ominous.
An international Bible teacher and Jew, Amir Tsarfati of BeholdIsrael.org is a leading voice in end-time prophecy and the Bible. In a recent post, he states the following:
Isaiah 3:4 warns, “I will give children to be their princes, and babes shall rule over them.”
“Look around at our world and you will see that an uneducated teenage girl has become the voice of climate change, roaming bands of young, lawless thugs have taken over huge portions of major cities, indoctrinated university students have all but silenced any conservative voices, and Marxism and Socialism are the heroes of the day in their minds.”
In Matthew 24:3-14, Christ warns of deception, lawlessness, and persecution as signs of the last days.
Is deception not increasing from every imaginable source; the media’s fake news, academia socialist indoctrination, corporate wokeness, and government’s DOL, CIA and FBI corruption?
Is lawlessness not ascending when defunded police battle continuous teen riots in Chicago and New York?
Is persecution of Christians not increasing when sharing the gospel results in arrest in Canada and even the U.S.? And this pales to the abuse of Christians by Muslims all over the world.
What we need to consider in all this is that we are running out of boxes to check for circumstances that will happen before the tribulation begins – an event immediately preceded by the church’s rapture.
In other words, we are running out of time to tell others about the gospel of Christ.
We’re running out of time to stand for the truth.
We’re running out of time to warn that judgment is coming.
Never has the entreaty of Christ been more paramount, which He spoke in Mark 1:15 “The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand; repent and believe in the gospel.”
